Philippa Penfold is a widely recognised HR technology expert listed on many influencers' lists since 2020. Building on a 20-year HR career, Philippa became heavily involved in the AI ethics debate in 2018, focusing on AI ethics in the workplace and the responsible design of workplaces to successfully integrate humans and AI. 

Today, she works as the Responsible AI and Data Science Manager at Elsevier, based in London. Philippa also lectures at universities in the UK, Singapore and Australia on AI in HR, business analytics, ethics and innovation, and continues to be deeply engaged in Responsible AI communities globally. Philippa holds multiple qualifications from top tier universities, alongside professional credentials and fellowships.
